Adam is the Creative Director at 1871, where he sets the vision for 1871’s brand and marketing strategies and leads the creative team’s efforts in multimedia and design. His work focuses on building relationships, telling stories, and fostering community amongst the organization’s member companies.
Before joining 1871, Adam was the Digital Strategy Director for the United Sciences of Chicago, a nonpartisan science advocacy organization that evolved from the group that put on the 2017 March For Science Chicago. Alongside his decade of experience as a photographer and writer, Adam led global marketing strategies for HVAC and water variable frequency drives at ABB. Adam received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
In his free time, Adam can be found taking photographs, traveling with his wife, Rachel, or taking his Chocolate Labrador, Arwen, on walks in the city.
