Stephanie Foster

Director of Events

Stephanie received a degree in Advertising from Michigan State University and spent five years at Gatorade in various marketing roles that provided her with the opportunity to assist on several large scale events. It was during her time in this role that Stephanie discovered a love for event planning and management.

From 2014 to 2016, Stephanie worked as a freelance event planner for a variety of companies around Chicago, concentrating on corporate and fundraising events. From there, she joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Chicago as Manager of Special Events where she spent nearly three years managing, planning and executing 40+ fundraising events per year and leading a team that generated $1.5 million in revenue annually.

Stephanie joined the 1871 team in September of 2018 as the Director of Events. In this role, Stephanie manages the 1871 Events Team and together they plan and execute more than 1,000 events per year, including high profile public and private events of all sizes. Stephanie also collaborates with other members of the 1871 team on event marketing and content development.

Stephanie is dedicated to producing innovative and exciting events for 1871’s members and clients and she is thrilled to be a part of the team!
