Stephanie Foster

After receiving a degree in Advertising from Michigan State University, Stephanie spent five years at Gatorade working in various marketing roles that provided her with the opportunity to assist on several large scale events. It was during her time in this role that Stephanie discovered a love for event planning and management.

From 2014 to 2016, Stephanie worked as a freelance event planner for a variety of companies around Chicago where she specialized in corporate and fundraising events. From there, Stephanie joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Chicago (BBBSMC) as the Manager of Special Events. During her time at BBBSMC, she was responsible for managing, planning and executing more than 40 fundraising events per year and led a team that generated $1.5 million in revenue annually.

Stephanie joined the 1871 team in September of 2018 as the Director of Events. In this role, she manages the 1871 Events Team and together, they plan and execute more than 1,000 events each year, including high profile public and private events of all sizes. Stephanie also collaborates with other members of the 1871 team on event marketing and content development.

Stephanie is dedicated to producing innovative and exciting events for 1871’s members and clients and she is thrilled to be a part of the team!
