Exit Right Fireside Chat & Book Launch with Mark Achler & Mert Iseri

04/20/2022 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm CST
  • Early Stage
  • Growth Stage

Before you sell your company, even the odds. Join 1871, Mark Achler and Mert Iseri at this hybrid event to discuss their new book, Exit Right, and the lessons included for entrepreneurs hoping to successfully sell their business.

Join us for a fireside chat and Q&A from 3:00 – 5:00pm CST with a launch party to follow afterwards.

While a successful entrepreneur may exit a handful of companies in their lifetime, large buyers close deals all the time. Without decades of experience in mergers and acquisitions, founders don’t have the tools they need to get the best results for themselves, their teams, or the new parent company.

In their new book, Exit Right, Mark Achler and Mert Iseri compiled dozens of interviews with M&A leaders at the biggest Silicon Valley acquirers to craft a comprehensive guidebook for entrepreneurs who are looking to exit their business.

Join Mark and Mert live in this hybrid fireside discussion of the lessons they outline in Exit Right, including:

  • Negotiation and valuation
  • Breaking down a term sheet
  • Managing legal costs
  • Handling emotional turbulence
  • Every critical aspect of a technology startup sale

Whether you are an experienced founder and entrepreneur that has or is imminently exiting, or a newer founder seeking to learn how to poise your company for success, this intimate discussion will leave any entrepreneur with valuable insight into win in both the short and the long term, and maximizing your price while positioning your company for a legacy you can be proud of.

After the content, Mark and Mert would like to invite you to join them for a celebration of the launch of their book, supported by Redmond Construction. Networking, light bites and beverages will be served.

In-person attendees will receive a copy of Exit Right, generously provided by Neal Gerber Eisenberg.
