Melissa Kaufman and Mike Raab, the directors of Northwestern University’s student entrepreneurship program The Garage, wrote Founded: The No B.S. Guide for Student Entrepreneurs with the goal of helping those breaking into business for the first-time to tap into that superpower of thinking and acting like an entrepreneur.

Based off of their own experiences and those of successful young founders that they have worked with, Founded provides insight into how those looking to start a new project or business can:

  • Make the best possible decisions when launching a business
  • Avoid the common mistakes of first-time entrepreneurs
  • Take immediate, concrete steps to get started on a new idea

First-time and student founders are invited to join us virtually for an intimate discussion between Melissa, Mike and several young founders featured in the book to discuss the lessons shared in Founded, and how “failure” is inevitable (and a good thing!) and how to get started building something real today.

There will be time for Q&A with all speakers after the content.
