CHICAGO, March 26, 20241871, global nonprofit innovation hub is hosting its first annual Web3 Innovation Summit with execution partners Advanced Technology Cluster, U.S. Blockchain Coalition (USBC), and Fintech4Good on April 17, 2024. In this hybrid event, 250+ startups, investors, corporate partners, and public attendees will convene for a full day of programming centered around Web3 innovation and critical industry topics.

The 2024 Web3 Innovation Lab cohort will be highlighted at the event, with founders pitching their startups and showcasing their products and services in an immersive Startup Expo. Fenwick, Hyperledger, Global Business Blockchain Council (GBBC), Genesis Block, Wave Digital Assets, Chainlink, EX3 Labs, Decasonic, World Business Chicago, Alphabit.fund, ETHChicago, Global DCA, and T-mobile Wholesale support the 2024 Summit.

Summit Agenda

The public Summit will take place in the Worklife space on the second floor of the Merchandise Mart for Web3-centered programming from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM CST, with lunch and Startup Expos taking place in 1871’s space on the twelfth floor. Breakfast and lunch will be offered to in-person attendees, followed by happy-hour networking and drinks in the final hour of the event. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Web3 experts in panel discussions highlighting industry trends, including ‘Web3 in Action – Real-World Web3 Use Cases’, ‘What Is the Real State of Web3 Today’, and ‘What Needs to Be Done for Web3 Mass-Adoption – A Candid Conversation’. Interactive presentations and keynotes on Web3 transformation will also be available. 

While attendees can watch virtually, only a select group of events will be live-streamed. In-person participation is highly recommended. Registration is required to participate in this event. RSVP and confirm your attendance by April 15, 2024, as the number of public tickets is limited.
