1871 Announces 2024 WMNtech Founders Cohort

1871’s 17th annual WMNtech Founders program kicked off in April 2024, and we’re excited to announce the 37 women tech founders participating in the cohort.

The WMNtech Founders program —dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs through curated programming, mentorship, and resources— plays a crucial role in addressing the gender gap in tech entrepreneurship.

Through this initiative, 1871 reaffirms its commitment to creating a supportive environment that supports and accelerates the growth of women-led tech businesses. WMNtech Founders is supported by Molson Coors

About the program

WMNtech Founders is a 10-week program devoted to empowering early-stage women tech founders as they elevate their startups with unique resources, programming, and community-building initiatives. The cohort virtually meets every Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM CST, spanning from 4.16.24 – 6.25.24.

WMNtech Founders consists of 4 parts: Share-outs, roundtables, leadership development workshops, and dedicated Entrepreneur-in-Residence office hours with Liz Tilatti. These 4 parts are designed to give women entrepreneurs an environment to connect with a community of women founders, gain guidance and insights from leaders in tech such as Bridget Lohrius, CEO & Founder of SANDWINA, and education for solutions to commonly held issues or “roadblocks” of being a women founder.

1871’s WMNtech initiatives

WMNtech Founders is part of 1871’s umbrella of programming centered around inspiring, equipping, and supporting women founders and leaders through tailored programming and mentorship initiatives, including WMNtech Leaders, WMNtech Pitch Competition, and 1871’s CRG, WMNtech Voices
