The 2025 Momentum Awards Finalists

On September 25, 2025, the Chicago tech community will gather for the 18th annual Momentum Awards, an evening dedicated to celebrating innovation and championing the trailblazers who are redefining their industries and building extraordinary businesses.

The Momentum Awards are ingrained at 1871’s core, serving not only as the largest tech awards celebration in Chicago, but as an affirmation of 1871’s commitment to bolstering the city’s startup community. At the award ceremony, eight companies and individuals will be recognized for their contributions across areas including a commitment to Chicago, innovative technology, superb leadership, and growth.

Industry Disrupter Award

This award recognizes a company that has developed or introduced an ingenious, non-traditional, and innovative product or service that has significantly disrupted its industry.

Outstanding Tech CEO Award

This award is presented to a CEO who has successfully scaled their company through outstanding leadership, the ability to attract and retain talented resources, dedication to diversity and inclusion, and the implementation of strategic growth opportunities.
