1871 hosted its WMNtech Pitch Competition 2024 finals on 3.28.24, where the top 5 women early-stage startups were given the opportunity to pitch to secure funding and resources for their businesses. Finalists included ASL Aspire, Blip Energy, IN BOLD PRINT, MabLab, and Partum Health.
Emceed by Zoe McKee, Comedian and Actor with The Second City, the finalists competed for cash prizes, equity funding, and other opportunities to continue scaling their startups.
MabLab, taking home $30k dollars & $2.5k in Aloa development credits
Blip Energy, taking home $10k in Aloa development credits
ASL Aspire, taking home $2.5k in Aloa development credits
IN BOLD PRINT, taking home $2.5k in Aloa development credits
Partum Health, taking home $2.5k in Aloa development credits
Alongside winning cash & equity prizes and development credits, the finalists received six months of free 1871 membership to access valuable resources, products, and programming to further accelerate their entrepreneurial journey.
