The COVID-19 global pandemic disrupted nearly every aspect of the U.S. immigration system. Delayed visa processing in global embassies and consulates continues to impact existing timelines and restrictions on various visa types. Entry to the U.S. has been extremely limited, further complicating adherence to visa requirements. And while there is seemingly light at the end of the tunnel in the U.S. as vaccinations roll out and infection rates drop, that is not being experienced globally. Travel bans from several countries continue to impact processes.
In this webinar, we review:
• the impact of COVID on Immigrants and Nonimmigrants Abroad,
• the effect of COVID on Immigration Processing at U.S. Land Borders,
• the effect of COVID on Immigration Processing Inside the U.S.,
• the effect of COVID on the Immigration Court System, and
• U.S. Response to the Impact of COVID on Immigrants.
If you have specific questions, we are dedicating time to specifically address them. When you register, you will be given the opportunity to submit your questions.
