After the collective trauma created by the pandemic, organizations and leaders across the globe are recognizing the vital need for addressing mental health in and out of the workplace. However, it’s difficult to know how to do so effectively. We all have gotten the advice to “practice self-care” or “just breathe” during times of stress. While these can be helpful strategies in certain situations, they fall short and can even backfire without a deeper understanding of the root causes.

In this session we will discuss:

    • The six major influencers on stress and well-being (spiritual, mental, environmental, physical, social, emotional)
    • Three disciplines for reducing stress (awareness, acceptance, conscious choice)
    • Creating a plan for implementing these strategies going forward

Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of what influences their stress levels and actionable strategies for increasing their mental wellness.
