A seasoned veteran at Weber Shandwick for over two decades, Glenn is responsible for the creation and implementation of strategic PR, corporate reputation and executive visibility plans for technology, financial services, manufacturing and government clients.
Glenn is the board chair of Choose Chicago, the City of Chicago’s tourism and convention marketing arm. He is a member of the University of Illinois School of Information Sciences Dean’s Innovation Council. Glenn also serves on the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Computer Science Department Advisory Board.
Eric Petersen, Head of Social & Emerging Platform Strategy, Weber Shandwick
Eric is a passionate marketer with a reputation for building breakthrough digital strategies for global consumer and corporate brands.
As a Vice President, Platform Strategy, Eric is a digital strategy expert that designs breakthrough digital brand campaigns for Fortune 500 clients across multiple verticals. Previous to Weber Shandwick, he led social strategy at Ogilvy Chicago building integrated campaigns for SC Johnson, Motorola, Corona Light, Modelo, and the Chicago White Sox. Prior to Ogilvy, he led social strategy at Digital Royalty in Las Vegas and worked with a portfolio of Hilton Hotels brands, and the LPGA. Eric has also held global positions at multiple hospitality companies, including Caesars Entertainment and the Hard Rock in Las Vegas where he led digital strategy for their resorts.
