Meet Our Keynote Speakers

Kyle Nakatsuji is the founder and CEO of Clearcover, an AI-native auto insurance carrier, and Dearborn Labs, a forward-deployed AI practice helping P&C carriers and MGAs operationalize artificial intelligence. Over five years running production AI on real insurance operations, Kyle‘s team built one of the most automated carriers in the industry: 90% of claims handled by AI, 93% digital bind rate, and 3x the operational efficiency of traditional carriers.

In 2026, Kyle launched Dearborn Labs to bring that operational playbook to the broader insurance market. Unlike traditional consultancies or point-solution vendors, Dearborn Labs embeds cross-functional teams that ship production AI systems in weeks, not months. Before founding Clearcover, Kyle was a venture investor at American Family Insurance, where he led insurtech investments. He speaks regularly on AI strategy in insurance and is based in Wisconsin.

Clarence Bethea began his career in entrepreneurship when he founded Upsie, an online marketplace for purchasing transparent extended electronics warranties, putting more power into the hands of consumers rather than big-box stores. Throughout this journey, he raised over $30 million in venture capital and led the company through its acquisition in 2023. His passion for building products that empower customers evolved into a new role where he was executive in residence and early-stage startup investor at Silicon Valley venture capital firm True Ventures, who has over $5B under management. He now serves as an advisor to the firm.

Building on this passion for equipping entrepreneurs, Clarence launched What VCs Won’t Say — a platform, course, and community created to give founders unfiltered insights into fundraising and venture capital. Through this work, he is focused on preparing the next generation of entrepreneurs with the tools, truth, and confidence they need to succeed.

Ablorde is the CEO of 4Degrees, a Chicago-based technology company, buildingrelationship intelligence software for relationship driven industries.

Before 4Degrees, he was an investor at Pritzker Group and a consultant at Bain & Company.
