CHICAGO, August 28, 2023 – Global tech innovation hub 1871 opens applications for their LTNtech Founders fall cohort, starting October 2023. In partnership with The Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the program runs for ten weeks, combining professional development curriculum, mentorship, and peer group development to elevate Latin early-stage tech founders.

Applications will be accepted through October 2nd, 2023. The program runs from 10.17.23 – 12.19.23, every Tuesday, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM CST.

LTNtech Founders, together with 1871’s complementary affinity programs, WMNtech Founders and BLKtech Founders, is designed to inspire, equip, and support underserved founders to maximize their key leadership strengths, overcome obstacles, and build relationships with experienced founders and mentors who are dedicated to supporting them.

“The number of Latin-run startups is growing at a faster rate than any other group, but their funding is not,” said Alysha Aubrey Bursey, 1871’s Senior Director of Affinity Programs. “With our LTNtech Founders program, we aim to support these founders and give them the confidence and skills they need to face this challenge head on and not only survive, but thrive”

The program includes peer-learning and problem-solving programming, curated leadership development workshops, one-on-one coaching with a dedicated Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR), and a variety of community and networking events.

This will be the 12th cohort of the LTNtech Founders program. While 1871 uses Latin for brevity, we happily welcome those who identify as Hispanic, Latino/a, Latine, Latin@, etc. All gender identities welcomed.
