Jihan Tchamba Diallo
With a passion for strategic planning and social impact, Jihan has spent the majority of her career working in the non-profit sector. With a focus on and passion for fundraising, technology, and entrepreneurship, Jihan currently serves as the Director of Grants and Sponsorships at 1871. Since joining the 1871 team in 2015, Jihan has worked in a variety of roles throughout the organization.
As a member of the Corporate Innovation team, she spearheads 1871’s grant and donor portfolio management initiatives, fundraising efforts, and public policy advocacy work.
Prior to 1871, Jihan led projects for the Arthritis Foundation and Girl Scouts of Central Illinois, gaining a skill set focused on the unique combination of donor/client cultivation, grants, fundraising project management, and membership/volunteerism retention.
Jihan holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication — Public Relations and minors in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Bradley University. As an non-profit professional with an entrepreneur’s spirit, she is thrilled to support founders in the Windy City. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and running.
